S-Hooks
We use s-hooks in 75% of the houses we work in. These little wonderful inventions can add storage to so many things in so many ways…Use them to easily hang your jeans for easy viewing and access, use them on a curtain rod to for a hanging planter, jewelry, pots and pans, use them on wire shelving units to extra hanging storage, hang gardening supplies in your outdoor sheds, so many possibilities!
Recycled Yogurt Jars
Recycle and reuse what you already have! I love Oui Yougurt. Not only are they yummy, they come in these nice little glass containers that I use for EVERYTHING and anything. Plus they sell reusable lids! . If you eat Oui yogurt you should deff purchase a set of these lids. They will change your life. Even if you don’t like yogurt you can still buy a few jars and lids for organizing!
Toy Clean Up Organizing Hack
If you have ever cleaned up legos from your living room floor then you know how frustrating it can be. This is an awesome hack for kids and small toys that will make clean up time easy and fun for kids. Get a simple dust pan and broom and keep it close to where your children play with their toys. When its time to clean up just sweet the little parts into the dust pan and put away…your welcome!
Clear Matching Storage bins
My go to bins for storage are these clear latching steralite bins. I like to use so you can easily see what you have. They are steady come in all different sizes.
Track System
Rubbermaid Fast Track system…When it comes to garages, basements, sheds this hook system makes it so easy to stay organized. Its super easy to install and all of the hooks are interchangeable and come with various hooks to fit your storage needs. Just because we use this system in mostly garages and basements it doesn’t mean you have to limit yourself to using it just for that.
Matching velvet hangers
My number one go to for closet organization is MATCHING HANGERS! More specifically matching velvet hangers. These hangers are slim and they stop your clothing from falling off and getting lost all over your closet floor. I will always suggest matching your closet with velvet hangers.
Peg System for you drawers
This organizing trick is GOLD! Use this peg system to keep glass from sliding around your kitchen drawers giveing your dishes, pyrex and breakable items a permanent home! Rev-a-shelf peg system is a peg board for your drawers. They are adjustable so you can cut them to any size you need. I would highly recommend this organizing product. Especially if you have lots of drawer space in your kitchen.
Air Tight Food Storage Jars
These airtight jars not only look pretty, they keep your food fresher for longer.
Shelving Units
When picking free standing shelving units we always pick ones that have adjustable shelves and wheels! Wheels are especially helpful if your organizing a basement prior to a renovation. Just roll your shelves right out of the way without having to take everything off.
Instant Print Camera
Make it easy to put things away and find them! Try using an insta max camera to maintain your systems. This helps especially if you friends, family or hired help to assist you with keeping up your home. They can’t say they don’t know where it goes if you have a clear photo it exactly where it should be!
The insta max camera is also good for shoe lovers. Take photos of your shoes and secure them to the outside of the shoe box. This way you can see what you have and save time finding the right shoes for your outfit!
